Follows on from the last film, continuing the struggles of the Master of Bruce Lee.
This time, I found the film scenes quite cliche and nothing was extra special in this.
I felt the involvement of the english people spoilt it a little, and it just became a run-of-the-mill story about revenge. Nevertheless, the fight scenes were very good and realistic.
The last minute of the film is really good - will keep that as a surprise!

Prince Of Persia
Had to see what all this was about - Jerry Bruckheimer action and it surely was pretty good. The story was good too, although acting abilities were a little unbelieveable and wooden. Ben Kingsley was perfect as the bad guy though.
There is a nice twist towards the end which took me totally by surprise - pleasantly though :)
Lots of swashbuckling adventure - much better than the last Indiana Jones film!

Unthinkable
This movie was indeed "Unthinkable".
So many twists and wierd wacky things happened. It had a great cast, but alas it was totally unrealistic, which is why It had this particular title.
Nevertheless, it was entertaining, gripping at times, and quite disturbing. I recommend it if you are into the "SAW" movies!

The Secrets In Their Eyes
Best foreign film at the Oscar 2010 and one can really see why.
Keeps you guessing right from the very beginning; the flashbacks are suitably used and you don't get confused with them.
Films like these are quite hard to follow, but this was a breeze. Argentina has started to burst out onto the international movie scene, and they are coming out with some amazing original ideas.
The main actors in the film had a great chemistry between them, and that was another thing that made it fascinating.
Great watch!

Kites
Highly anticipated Mexican/Bollywood film directed by Rakesh Roshan and starring his son Hrithik Roshan and the Sultry Mexican actress, Barbara Mori.
I saw the hindi version in the cinema (there is also a shorter, English International version available). Cinematography was stunning, and was very surprised with Barbara Mori's acting ability. She was very believable and credible.
The bad guy was bad, but didn't look it - I think that was a little bit of a let down.
A sad and emotional ending, and the opening narration sets the scene for the final showdown and the main reason for the name of the film.
Gripping stuff!

Kick-Ass
A movie I missed at the pictures whilst being stranded on holiday, eventually got round to watching it.
Not one I was going to watch initially, but after the phenomenal IMDB score, I just had to check it out.
I thought it was ok, probably more suited to teens. No doubt it was still quite funny, but mostly silly in a few parts. To be honest, I do not know what the fuss was all about.
Made me laugh and passed the time though.

Robin Hood
Fabulous stuff here, looks like Russell Crowe just stepped off the Gladiator sets, and continued filming on this one! Has that same look and feel - you could call it "Medieval Gladiator"!
Acting performances of everyone involved were excellent, particularly that of Cate Blanchett who really is one of my favourite actresses.
The story is an untold one, and they hardly touch upon the Robin Hood that we all know; that of stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. It's more of a story more personal to his, so I will let you watch it as I do not want to spoil it for you.
A film I really enjoyed watching, after a very long time. A definite must-see; just go!

The Losers
A film due to be out shortly in the cinema; lucky enough to see an advance preview.
Cast is good, and the first 5 minutes sets the tone. However, as the film went on, I felt there was some gaps, the story passing through ever so quickly without explaining fully to the audience.
All in all a good time pass; action sequences were good, but I think Jason Patric as the bad guy totally let it down - he just was not bad enough and didn't have the "bad guy persona".
Watch if nothing else better to do...

The Bounty Hunter
Well what can I say. A wasted effort here. The cast of Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler held a lot of promise, however, the script was weak, and there was very little to work for.
The gags, whilst plentiful, were not really that funny. There was a hint of chemistry between the two, but to be honest, it did not really stand out in the crowd.
Only really watch it if you like Jennifer Aniston, she looks pretty good in it! Thats about the only thing going for this film!

Iron Man 2
More fun and capers from Tony Stark - I must admit I am getting a little tired of Robert Downey Junior's acting, I cannot see much variation of it as of late - seems to be more of the same over again.
The bad guy was played by a "Russian" Mickey Rourke which was entertaining. Don Cheadle was quite wooden, as was Gwyneth Paltrow as "Pepper".
A cameo from Scarlett Johannsen saved the day for me though - she was a treat to watch - She looked quite dashing in her "brown" locks!

Clash Of The Titans
I saw this before my Morocco trip, but forgot to update.
By the way, April was very chilled out, just saw one film; this one, believe it or not!
I decided not to watch in in 3D as it was not specifically made for it. I think I made a good choice as I thought watching it in 3D would have spoilt it.
The story was the same as the old classical one, special effects were good, and it kept my interest.
I think a little lack of charm, but I think that is because I am old-fashioned!
