Gran Torino

Superb...this one didn't disappoint.

One of Mr Eastwood 's best performances. This made me laugh and was quite serious too.

There was careful attention to detail of all the characters. Maybe the "boys" will relate to this film more as it was a Man's film. The only thing that let me down a little was that the acting ability of the young boy, Thao, wasn't the best in the world. That aside, it was thoughtful and had a gripping story. Shame about the sad ending though.

If you want a great film, with acting, script, plot, cinematography, lighting, sub-plots, social commentary, good artwork - then watch this.

I am going to see "The International" at the cinema tomorrow, starring Clive Owen and Naomi Watts. Will report back soon!
